Have you heard of the Sober Art Society of Shelton? We offer free weekly classes to those in recovery for addiction. We have 2 requirements for attendees, be sober, and be active in a treatment program. Art can be incredibly healing, and I have personally seen it help many members of our community.
Currently, I am funding all of our projects. I do, on occasion receive donation of supplies for the group, but they are few and far between. We do a fundraiser from time to time to help offset the cost of the supplies.
In this fundraiser class we will be painting ceramic resin trays and lotus flowers. You will be able to choose a candle made by Boho Beauty and Sagefire Candles, a local treasure!
$40 per person. Price includes all supplies and instructions as well as complimentary soft drinks and snacks.
